MyGenie AI respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data when you use MyGenie AI.

2. Information We Collect

When using MyGenie AI, users may voluntarily provide the following types of information:

• Calendar events, tasks, and reminders
• Goals
• Bills and financial reminders
• Shopping lists
• Health-related entries
• Family-related entries
• Travel plans and itineraries
• Information entered during conversations with the AI assistant

3. How We Use Your Information

Information is collected and stored solely to provide the functionality of the MyGenie AI application, including:

• Managing tasks, reminders, and schedules
• Providing and personalizing AI assistance responses
• Synchronizing your data across devices
• Supporting subscriptions and account management
• Improving app reliability and performance

4. Google Calendar Integration

If you choose to connect your Google account, MyGenie AI will use your Google OAuth authorization to create and update calendar events in your Google Calendar on your behalf. Specifically:

• We create calendar events only for items you explicitly save with "Save to Google Calendar."
• We do not read, modify, or delete Google Calendar events that were not created by MyGenie AI.
• Your Google Calendar authorization token is stored securely and used only to perform actions you initiate within the App.
• You may disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings. Disconnecting removes our access but does not delete events already created in your Google Calendar.
• To revoke Google access entirely, visit myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove MyGenie AI.

When you use Google Calendar sync, certain event details (title, date, time, location, notes) are transmitted to Google's servers as part of the calendar event creation process. This transmission is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

MyGenie AI does not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Information may be processed by trusted service providers solely for the purpose of operating and maintaining the application. These providers include:

• Base44 (application infrastructure and hosting)
• OpenAI / Google AI (AI assistant responses — conversation content is processed by the AI provider)
• Google (when Google Calendar integration is enabled)
• Apple (when processing App Store subscriptions)

6. Data Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are implemented to protect user information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

7. User Control

Users maintain control of their information and may request account deletion and removal of stored data by contacting support.

8. Children's Privacy

MyGenie AI is not intended for children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of any revised policy.
